General Rules
• No dogs or wolf-dogs allowed.
• Cursing is allowed, but keep it to a minimum, and don't direct it at anyone, or you will be punished.
• Threatening other players is strictly forbidden, as is harrassment. If someone is bothering you, please let a staff member know.
• Racist, sexist, and discriminatory remarks are forbidden.
• No power-playing or god-modeling. Don't know what they are? Feel free to ask the admin or another staff member.
• Mary-sue characters are strictly forbidden. A mary-sue character is a character without flaws.
• Chatspeak is forbidden when posting.
• Staff members need to be respected by the players - after all, they help keep the site running. However, staff are also expected to respect the players.
• You are allowed to have as many characters as you think you can keep active, however, they all must remain active.
• All in-character posts must be at least 200 words long.
• Do not spam the site. Should you do so, you will first be temporarily banned. If you do it again you will be banned forever.
• Homosexual wolves are not allowed. Were this a human site I would allow homosexuality, but in real life dogs are not homosexual, so they will not be here either.
• No fighting in OOC or on the Cbox. If you really have to argue, keep it to PMs.
• You may not roleplay with your character until it has been accepted by a staff member with the power to accept biographies.
• No inappropriate pictures or links to inappropriate websites are allowed.
• Pictures in signatures need to be kept at an appropriate size. Nothing larger than 500 X 250 pixels, please, and no more than one picture.
• Posting in the away board is an important thing. If you are going to be away for five days or more, please make sure to notify staff members by posting in the provided absence board.
• Plagiarism is not accepted here. If I see or hear that anyone has plagiarized someone else's work then they will be permanently banned from the site. The same goes for any guests that plagiarize our members.
• Please use proper grammar and spelling when posting both IC and OOC. Little mistakes will mostly go unnoticed, but an entire post filled with mistakes is difficult to read.
• Only one account per person.
• Display names such as iluvponies2065 and anything annoying like that are frowned upon. Do not use them.
• When you join you have one week to finish a character. If you fail, you will be deleted. If it is declined then you have another three days to finish it. If you fail then the character's biography will be deleted. After that, if you have not tried to create another character within one week then you will be deleted.
• After creating a character you have two weeks to make a post. If you fail you will be considered inactive (unless you have contacted a staff member or posted in the away board).
• You must make at least 2 in-character posts a month (unless you have contacted me or posted in the away board). If you fail then you will be considered inactive.
IC Rules
• As stated in the General Rules, all in-character posts must be at least 200 words in length. There will be a word-counter provided, so there should be no excuses for being unable to post 200 words.
• Once again, no god-modeling or power-playing.
• No meta-gaming. This is when a character seems to magically know something that they really have no reason to know.
• No dog can be in more than three threads at one time. The only posts that do not apply to this count are plot-based threads and pack meetings. This rule does not apply to pack leaders either.
• No in-character double posting is allowed.
• Please post in turns. Here is an example of what I mean. Joe starts a thread called Hunting. Jack replies to it. Before Joe can reply, Jill replies after Jack. Jack cannot post after Jill. He must wait for Joe to reply. Then he can reply. So, the order would be Joe, Jack, Jill, and back again to Joe. If someone is inactive then message a staff member for permission to continue on without them.
• If you intend a thread to be private, please make sure that you state so in the subject.
• You are not allowed to roleplay with yourself.
Breeding & Birthing
• Wolves may fall in love, but there is no such thing as love at first sight here. wolves must be together in at least three complete pages threads before they can fall in love.
• When a female becomes pregnant, fill out the form in the Pup Announcement board.
• A staff member will decide the amount and gender of the pups based on where the pups are being born, how many males and females the site already has, and the health of the mother and father at the time. Everything else will be decided by the parents.
• If the pups are being born and are part of a plot then the parents may decide how many pups (as long as it is a reasonable amount) and their genders. This must be approved by an admin.
• Parents decide who gets to play the pups.
• Forcebreeding is allowed. When the IC post is finished fill out a pup form to announce the pups, if there are going to be pups.
• For a female to be forcebred, the consent of her player must be given.
• An IC post must be done for the birth of the pups. Detail is allowed, but try not to be too gross.
• Wolves are not considered mates unless they have agreed to be mates. If a female is forcebred by another male then she is not automatically his mate.
• the password is splash
Fighting
• A fight can happen for any reason. There are no limitations.
• There are no dictations on how many attacks each fighter gets. However, there is a limit to dodges. You get three dodges per fight, no matter how long the fight it. This applies to any kind of fight.
• Half-dodges (when the attack does not hit the intended target but still hits the dog) have no limit. A half-dodge would be like this: Player one tried to bite Player Two's back leg in his attack, but when Player Two responded to the attack in their post they stated that Player One missed their target, but still managed to grab onto Player two's tail instead.
*Leaders*
• New leaders receive one month of immunity and cannot be challenged. After that they may be challenged again.
• Now, highlight all of the rules to find the password.
